Pure Piano carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. After seeing Invitation To Sweet Dream, I had to have a good Yuhki Kuramoto cd. On Pure Piano album, Yuhki Kuramoto have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Pure Piano is the best essence of Yuhki Kuramoto.
Shape Of Love without a doubt is the standout song of Pure Piano. This track is clearly meant to showcase Yuhki Kuramoto’s vocal abilities. Yuhki Kuramoto breathes new life into the music in Gentle Longing. Opening track Encounter Like Juliet’s shows the best of Yuhki Kuramoto. That Is Love is one of my favorite songs by Yuhki Kuramoto. In A Gentle Time good vocals. Love Goes Gracefully is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. Sentimental Moment is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Pure Piano have ended. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. Yuhki Kuramoto allows each song to breathe and flourish. Fantasic Night is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite.
