It’s natural for Caedmon’s Call to take a stab at ‘All My Life’ considering her long-professed love for Gridlok. This -song debut EP shows the promise that Caedmon’s Call has. For older fans Chronicles 1992-2004 will put a massive smile accross your face. This is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.
After few listenings I started to like Thankful more and more. Caedmon’s Call sings Lead Of Love (Live) in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. There You Go is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. This World (Live) (3:36) - awsome. Table For Two is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. 40 Acres (Live) is marvelous song though, very addictive. It took me a little time but I ended up loving I Will Sing/Hope To Carry On (Live). Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Only Hope is my favorite song on Chronicles 1992-2004. Hands Of The Potter one is one of the better boring ones. This track is full of harmonies and gets Chronicles 1992-2004 off to a relaxing start. Strong, powerful vocals of Caedmon’s Call in Bus Driver are very impressive. The sound of Before There Was Time (Live) is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Who You Are is another strong production from Caedmon’s Call. Faith My Eyes (Live) is probably the highlight of the album. Shifting Sand (From 40 Acres) is one of the best records ever.
