Since Karunesh last CD (Global Village) on ForeFront Records back in 2006, I have felt a massive void in my life. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Karunesh. Lead single “Prayer Of Joy” and “Orient Express” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This album is a scorcher!
Orient Express make listening to Karunesh like being in some sort of time warp. Earth Spirit is a bit different from Karunesh stereotypical stuff. Helele Ma marked the continuation of Karunesh in style evolution. Transformation is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Karunesh emotions are reflected through Arabian Nights. Beyond Heaven (Remix) is astounding. After few listenings I started to like Om Namo more and more. Krishnas Song (7:13) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs.
