Stanley Donwood has compared writing for Blind Melon’s new album to that on ‘Live At The Palace’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Self-described as Alternative with lots of words, Blind Melon comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. twelve years ago, Blind Melon briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Wilt”. Live At The Palace is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
Nice and different song. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Soak The Sun can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Blind Melon is all about. This is one hell of a track. Walk one of the best in my collection. Tones Of Home is a excellent, simple song by Blind Melon at the top of his game. In No Rain Blind Melon is at his best. This song stands out greatly from the others. Soup is probably the highlight of the album. This track is clearly meant to showcase Blind Melon’s vocal abilities. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot.
