It’s natural for Poisonblack to take a stab at ‘Nothing Else Remains’ considering her long-professed love for Gustav Holst. Poisonblack had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Hollow Be My Name - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. The Darkest Lie is probably the most interesting track on Lust Stained Despair. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Nail is beautiful, yet underrated track. I’ve found myself listening to Raivotar back to back and back many times. In Soul In Flames the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Pain Becomes Me is a bit of a show-tune. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. I now have Love Controlled Despair as one of my personal favorites. The Living Dead is one of the coolest songs Poisonblack has ever recorded.
