Celtic Frost Monotheist MP3

Celtic Frost Monotheist imageThis disc has all of the essential Celtic Frost classics. Lead single “Progeny” and “Ground” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Now signed to Celtic Frost’s ForeFront Records, the title track from second album “Monotheist” leads Celtic Frost’s back-to-school campaign. Great Metal: Doom right here!

Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Ground is my favorite song on Monotheist. I think A Dying God Coming Into Human Flesh is the best song Celtic Frost has ever done. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. Musically Os Abysmi Vel Daath is superior to other tracks in Monotheist. Celtic Frost must have run out of lyrics on the next track Obscured. Domain Of Decay - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Ain Elohim is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. I find myself hearing bits of Triptych - Synagoga Satanae here and there throughout my waking hours. Triptych - Winter (Requiem, Chapter Three - Finale) - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Celtic Frost.
